セラミック（複数形でセラミックス）とは、窯の中で無機物を焼き固めた製品、つまり窯業製品を指す総称です。ひとくちに「セラミック」と言っても、その種類は多種多様。焼き物やガラス、セメント、ファインセラミックスなど様々な用途を持ったセラミックが存在します。

セラミックの上面から特殊漆を意匠付けた作品です。陶器では表現できない表情を、漆器の塗り技法を用いて制作した 今までにない新しいセラミックシリーズです。

Pottery and porcelain are types of ceramics.
Ceramics (plural: ceramics) is a general term referring to products made by firing inorganic materials in a kiln, namely ceramic products. Though collectively termed “ceramics”, the variety is vast. Ceramics exist for diverse purposes, including pottery, glass, cement, and fine ceramics.

This is a work featuring a design applied with special lacquer onto the ceramic surface. It is a novel ceramic series created using lacquerware coating techniques to achieve expressions unattainable with pottery alone.
