セラミック（複数形でセラミックス）とは、窯の中で無機物を焼き固めた製品、つまり窯業製品を指す総称です。ひとくちに「セラミック」と言っても、その種類は多種多様。焼き物やガラス、セメント、ファインセラミックスなど様々な用途を持ったセラミックが存在します。

セラミックの上面から特殊漆を意匠付けた作品です。陶器では表現できない表情を、漆器の塗り技法を用いて制作した 今までにない新しいセラミックシリーズです。

Pottery and porcelain are types of ceramics.
Ceramics (plural: ceramics) is a general term for products made by firing inorganic materials in a kiln, i.e., ceramic products. Although the term ‘ceramics’ is used, there are many different types. There are ceramics for various uses, such as pottery, glass, cement, and fine ceramics.

This work features a special lacquer design applied to the surface of the ceramic. It is a new ceramic series created using lacquerware techniques to achieve expressions that cannot be achieved with pottery alone.
